I needed to collect my girlfriend Jacquie (now my wife) from Eaton Hall female Teacher Training College for the Summer Ball. Mugrin kindly offered to take me the 40 miles to her College to collect her. He parked his red fastback Mustang in front of the main College accommodation building and I went in to collect Jacquie. When we came out, Mugrin was perched on the bonnet of his car looking up at the College building. We turned to see that nearly every window was open with dozens of female students looking out at him. I got in the back of the car and Jacquie sat by Mugrin in the front. Of course, on returning to her College, her fellow- students gave her the third degree to find out who was the handsome man with the fabulous car.
